"I called Mark in a panic at 6:30 on a Saturday night about a hornet nest I had disturbed that was blocking access to my basement. He very kindly gave me some information about what I was probably dealing with (whether it was safe to approach, etc) over the phone, then made time within a few hours to come take care of the nest. Within half an hour of arriving, he had expertly killed and packed up the nest, checked my basement for any stragglers, and taken the time to explain to me what to expect in the next few days post-extermination (as well as spending a few extra minutes he didn't need to spend satisfying my curiosity about how to tell a hornet from a yellowjacket from a bee!). I had expected to pay a premium for Saturday night service, and it would have been worth it, so I was shocked when Mark told me that since it had turned out to be a simple job, there would be no surcharge at all.
